post one hundred twenty-four part two

the lenoir county arts league invited me to jury their "locals only" show.  lots of questions were asked during the walk through last night.  the artists were patient and curious regarding my choices among the variety of styles and levels of proficiency.  i thanked them for the challenge to pick awards among paintings of flora and landscapes -- areas i rarely visit in my personal preferences.  many times we cited techniques and effective risky visual decisions.  here's the second place winner with her work, "king charles spaniel."
