next up: appalachian alumni in the arts exhibition.  my alma mater picked this and another piece for the upcoming exhibition at the turchin center for the arts.  something like 70 artists and 98 pieces.  feb. 4 through june 4.  the reception is april 1, 7p--9p. more info.

birdies is from the current floating women series.  though not overtly expressed, this woman is not on the ground.  she's not in the heavens either.  she likes the state she is in . . . like birdies round the head.
