one hundred thirty-four

Forthright
That's Peter Nisbet.  He's the Chief Curator at the Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill.  See post one hundred thirty-two .  Mr. Nisbet shared with those at the juror's talk an hour's worth of commentary of the 65 pieces of art that comprise the Raleigh Fine Arts Society's 2011 North Carolina Artists Exhibition.

It's all a matter of opinion.  Not everyone will get into every show.  But it sure is a good feeling when you not only get in, but you get a lecture in a fabulous auditorium from the Juror -- who's not afraid to state his preference.  Then we all glide through a live harp and chocolate heavy refreshments at the reception.  Class act.  Thank you, Raleigh Fine Arts Society.  Thank you Peter Nisbet.  Go see this show!
