Busy weekend . . . drove up to Boone -- I love Boone -- for the
Turchin Center for the Visual Arts' Halpert Biennial Juror's Lecture today.
SECCA's Steve Matijcio is a class act. His talk mentioned a central theme of memory for the show. He wove a wonderful lecture that pulled elements from these works, blended them with elements from those works, and made it all come together in a pleasant, easy to follow presentation. It was a work of art. The show is awesome, the staff is awesome -- congrats to all the winners.
