one hundred forty-eight

The 2011 Halpert Biennial opened at the Turchin Center on Friday, July 1st with a BANG.  It was a First Friday -- lots of of folks about town, lots of art to see -- happy to see old friends, professors who significantly influenced me and/or passed me, and one of my first patrons.  The Halpert show is awesome -- and it's awesome to be part of all that vibrancy -- large scale paintings, macro focus large print photos, and great new work from other regional artists.
