There's a new red ribbon for a spry painting.  The now multiple award winning piece "A Lovely Brick Wall" (also took First Prize, Mixed Media at the Arts Council of Moore County's Annual Juried Show, see post one hundred eighty-seven ) is collecting even more color. 

But this award -- Second Prize, 2D at the Mooresville Arts Guild (MAG)'s 30th Annual Artoberfest is mentioned via the help of printed words from the program.  And a recap link courtesy of MAG. 

Thank you to Juror G. Lee Bumgarten for the arduous task of selecting the winners from 207 works of art and to MAG for hosting the exhibition.  Shout out to the 'rents too for trekking over to the reception and accepting the award on my behalf.  I was cutting a rug and celebrating the union of two dear friends that night.
