-- just another day chilling with the future and talkin' shop. The fourth graders at Pearce Elementary rocked it. These students had much soul as we discussed the stories in several Les III originals. Great commentary. My hat is off to all the educators. You have such a tough job . . . but when the children listen and think and contribute . . . wow. Just wow. Part of the visit included how artists use body language as a vehicle to comprehend the story in a narrative painting. They didn't skip a step or miss a beat -- are very honestly talked about what they 'saw'.
Thank you to Mrs. Cammie Berrier for having me out for a visit. And thanks to the Pearce PTA for feeding me lunch during the five class visit. More photos here courtesy of the Guilford County School System & Mrs. Berrier.
