Here's one to consider -- these snaps are from a May Randolph Community College (RCC) fundraiser. It was called a "Taste Of Asheboro" and was tastefully orchestrated by several of Asheboro's business owners. Folks met in the upstairs of a new banquet/meeting facility: A Venue On Worth. Nice place.
More and more folks came to sample numerous local restaurant fare, bid on silent auction art pieces, and support the efforts of RCC. And witness live art making by several artists.
To your left are several snaps featuring the lovely model, Shana. And why does she look solemn? She was nice enough to model at the last minute for this event, and neither of us really ate much prior to the 2 hour sitting. (Besides, a true smile is fleeting. It is the memory of a true smile that lingers.) Add to that we were close to the cash bar and spirited folks.
Some musicians say if they can play their solo amid rush hour traffic in a major metropolitan city, they are ready for their performance.
This isn't a cello. Nor was it rush hour. And frankly, it's not really a solo. Just a nice drawing of nice person -- and congrats to the winning bidders, I look forward to creating a new portrait of your choosing from life. Glad to help the development of others' minds.
