I was having a bit of trouble finding the words for this piece.  The emotions portrayed are familiar.  The initial concepts aka the point of departure is intact . . . but all this serves as development and are not intended for public consideration in the final draft.  What's a 21st Century Artist to do?

Hey Facebook followers of Les III Art what do you think I should name this piece?  This was a fun exercise -- interesting feedback.  The suggestions included "Blue Joy Boy", "Ernie Discovers the Stars", "Muppet President", and "Singing The Blues".  Though it was not my intent to necessarily use one of the suggestions, one in particular fit just right.  Thank you to Sara B. and her suggestion, "Ethereal Non-scents".  Perfect.

This work along with 99 other 10" square paintings will be available as part of the Center For Visual Artists' Annual "100 for $100" fund raiser.  Doors open promptly at 6pm on Friday April 5.  It's first come, first serve (there is usually a line -- so get there early) cash & carry and an entertaining event . . . kinda like Black Friday -- but more creative and less panties.
