two hundred thirty-four

Art class.  Fourth graders.  It's a day of undetermined influence.  Will the slim artist make a positive impact on the students at Peck Elementary, propelling them towards a career filled with creativity and happiness?  It is too early to tell.  They dug the "Exquisite Corpse" project though.  It is a success any day when you convince 10 year olds that they don't have to have erasers because there are no mistakes when being creative -- only opportunities to learn. -- glad to be back as part of the Art-In-Schools crew with the Guilford County Schools and the GreenHill Center for NC Art.  Check out GreenHill's recent blog entry .  More about Artist-In-Schools and "Exquisite Corpse" via blog entry two hundred seventeen.
